The Remember Ryan Foundation Inc.

               ADVOCACY FOR THE ARTS

In loving memory of Ryan A. Bertini    April 7, 1997-November 2, 2005

Ryan Avery Bertini died unexpectedly on the morning of November 2, 2005.  He was eight years old.

The Remember Ryan Foundation Inc. was established to help assure a legacy for this little boy who, despite being burdened with numerous medical conditions from birth and enduring physical pain most days of his short life, always seemed to manage a laugh or a smile for those around him.

The primary purpose of The Remember Ryan Foundation Inc. is to support and promote the visual and performing arts, particularly for young children.

The Foundation awards mini-grants of up to $1000 each to teachers through the Remember Ryan Grants Fund.  Grants must be used  to develop and implement  visual or performing arts-related activities and programs.

A "Direct Gifts" program to school library-media centers is also available to provide visual and performing arts reference materials for teacher and student use.

In addition, the Foundation sponsors recognition programs for artists, performers, teachers and other individuals who have made lasting contributions to the visual and performing arts or arts education.

The Remember Ryan Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) New York State Not-for-Profit Corporation and registered public charity.
