APPLICATION PROCESS

APPLICATIONS

NOW OPEN TO K-8 SCHOOLS IN ALL WESTERN NEW YORK

COUNTIES.

Below are just a few examples of the types and dollar amounts of Remember Ryan Grants that have been awarded since the program's inception:

REMEMBER RYAN GRANTS FUND

THE REMEMBER RYAN FOUNDATION INC.

    Funding Levels:  1. up to$250 for single classroom or small scale projects of short duration.

                               2. up to $500 for activities involving multiple classrooms and/or grade levels.

                               3. up to $1000 for projects/activities involving entire school 

All applications must be submitted in the outline form that follows:

1.0  TITLE.  Include a descriptive title for the project and the following pertinent information:

       1.1  Primary Contact Person and email address

       1.2  Other teachers or staff involved with project.

       1.3  Grade level(s) involved. (Grants are limited to Grades pre-K through 6. Schools housing grades 7 & 8 are eligible with grade 6)

       1.4  Approximate number of students directly involved.

       1.5  Duration of project.

2.0  PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Briefly describe the project and how it relates to the visual and/or performing arts.

3.0  PROJECT IMPACT: Briefly describe how the project might enhance or expand appreciation of the visual or performing  arts

                                        for the students involved.

4.0  PROPOSED ITEMIZED BUDGET:  Must include vendors' names and addresses.       

        4.1   DO NOT include items for which State Aid or other funding support will be received.

        4.2   DO NOT include refreshments, awards, party goods or supplies or materials that are part of the regular school budget. 

        4.3   Indicate whether you would accept PARTIAL funding of the grant.

5.0  SHOWCASING THE ACTIVITY:  Describe how you intend to "showcase" the results of the activity to the school and  

       community. (i.e. publicity, performance, etc.)

6.0  FINAL PRODUCT.  Upon completion, the Remember Ryan Foundation shall be presented with a tangible product example

       such as a work of art, video recording, scrapbook or other appropriate item(s).
